Art Print Pairings
People occasionally ask me which art prints I'd group together, so I thought I'd share some of my favorite combinations. Whether you are putting together a whole gallery wall with other pieces mixed in or a pair of art prints, here are some ideas.
Generally I'm pairing prints based on some combination of balancing color (having similarities but also contrast in the weight of each color from print to print), scale of elements (sometimes it's nice to have a print or two that is more detailed and then one that's simpler/bolder), and theme.
